In order to offer the finest pies and cakes available we have established a method that allows us to be consistent day in and day out without serving one stale pie or cake. We freeze them! Yes, since 1992! By freezing the pies after we make them, it locks in the flavor and allows us the advantage of making the pies in large batches. If we make all our pies and cakes and sell them on the same day, it would create all kinds of issues from out of stock to spoilage to the product getting old and being discarded. Our quality speaks for itself! Don’t be concerned because it’s not made the same day you buy it. When it thaws out, you will never know it was frozen and if it is not the finest pie or cake you have ever eaten, bring it back and we will refund your money. Oh, and by the way, we highly recommend that if you have any pie that might make it through the day (shame on you for not eating it all) put it back in the freezer and pull it out when you want to dive back into it. Most pie slices thaw in a matter of minutes and whole pies thaw in less than an hour. If you bought one of our double crusted fruit pies, it will last on the counter for three days (assuming you have AC) without compromising the quality. If it lasts longer than three days, get off the diets and start eating!!
